2010 Pete completed his CD in Jan. 3 for 3 with placements. He has only been trained for field. So the idea of coming front is a hard concept for him. He is such a fun dog in every venue.

Pete came from TealOak Kennels in Tx. I had gotten him for Tom. I was looking for something that would better suited for Tom. Pete has been a perfect match. He is VERY Bitable with energy to go all day. However @ home he is happy to lay on the sofa and get his ear scratched. Anytime you want to work he is there...yet he is NOT high maintenace that you HAVE to do something or he will drive you nuts. His coat is not over done. He looks like a golden however not alot of undercoat. A Very pleasing head. Broad like a breed dogs and very intelliagent looking. Pete does have a little white on his chest (right arm pit)

Pete came into my life as a surprise Puppy from wife Megan. From the very first day, he has been everything that I could have asked for in a retriever. His enthusiasm for retrieving as a puppy led to barking and whining as the marks were going down. I had to teach him early that this was not acceptable. He learned quickly and the only noise we hear from his is an occasional whine while honoring another working dog. To date, he has earned an AKC Senior Hunter Title and has three Master legs. Although he is primarily a hunt test dog, I believe he could also compete in Field Trials because he is a good marker and doesn’t mind long swims. He is a very bitable dog who is willing to please. He is a very good upland hunter and I plan on waterfowl hunting during the next season. He has competed in AKC Rally Obedience and regular Obedience will be in his future.
