“Reboot” is the epitome of the versatile golden. He excels in every performance venue he has been exposed to, and has a lot of fun with everything he does. He is 23 inches tall, and weighs in at 60lbs, and with a darker golden coat…his 60 lbs does not include his heart, which is his best attribute. He loves being with people, and wants to please anybody and everybody he meets. He is extremely gentle with puppies, children, older dogs, and older people. He is a phenomenal hunting dog. In addition to all of the above…his accomplishments cannot be overlooked. In the field, which is his, and his mother’s favorite, he has over 20 master passes, he qualified for the 2011 Master National, has a placement in a Qualifying field trial, and a few JAMs. In the off seasons, he competes in obedience and agility. He is OTCH pointed, and working towards his Utility Dog Excellent title, and competes in the Excellent ring in Agility. When they say Dog is Man’s Best Friend, they had Reboot in mind.
Reboot came to me from Val and Jay Walker of Sungold Kennels. This is my third Sungold dog(Eis and Extra before him). Val and Jay have kept there lines truly hunting dogs 1st. Reboot fit right in to our list of great working golden retrievers. The Walkers use to run Field Trials and now spend most of their time hunting. I found out about them from D.L. Walters when I lived in Kansas. Sungold is still old school. They don't have much Topbarss Cotton in there lines. They just wanted to stay out of main stream. What is nice about Reboot would be is would be a Outcross to most the current fields dogs as we know them today.
Reboot has been very easy to train. He is 23" and 60lbs. Reboot is a darker golden in color. He is not over done. He has more coat than most field dogs.
