Dear Friends and Family,

 

It is with broken hearts that we share with you that this evening we said farewell to our dear Sunny.  He fought a valiant fight against lymphoma for the past 13 months.  The time came when the drugs could no longer hold off the cancer.  For the past week, the spread of the disease accelerated to the point where he labored to breath.  His tail continued to wag up to the very end, a testimony to the sweet boy he was. 

 

His veterinarian and her staff told us they see many, many dogs, but that Sunny was really something special.  And special he was!  He had the love and admiration of all who knew him, including all of the neighborhood dogs who would come to play with him on his corner.  Our home will never be quite the same again without our "Sun"-shine.  God sent us a true Golden blessing, and we will be forever grateful.

 

We will miss him dearly.
